Learning Basic Skills: Scooping

One of the most basic skills that all beginners must learn is how to scoop the ball effectively. When scooping, you want to get low to the ground and use the top part of the lacrosse head to scoop the ball up. To do this, bend your knees and lower the stick to the ground to pick the ball up in one fluid motion while continuing to run forward.
